Manuel and the Corral team helped us throughout the entire lending process. We were first time buyers and had no experience in home buying and even less in the lending process, Manuel not only met with us, he and his team helped explain and answer all the questions that we had. The Corral team was available at various hours of the day to accommodate our busy schedule. They were honest, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process and worked through the holidays so that we had keys to our new home on Christmas Eve. We went through Plaza with our home purchase. The experience was great and non-stressful. Then Todd helped me out over the phone to see if a re-fi was a good idea for us a few years later. We were very nervous when we met with Todd Iles. We had no knowledge about the loan process so we placed our trust on him to guide us through the process. And boy we are glad we did. There were a couple bumps in the road, and extra items needed to complete the process but Todd helped us every step of the way. In the end we got the home of our dreams and a mortgage that exceeded our expectations with a lower rate and lower payment. Anytime you work with Todd it is a great experience. He always speaks slow, he speaks in your terms so you understand everything you are signing. Todd will not go to the next thing till you completely understand what you are signing.

My wife and I used Plaza Residential Mortgage after a recommendation from a friend. We have used them 3 times. The first time was in 2009 when we first bought our house in Oakland and two more times to refinance. The last time we used them was in 2013. The experience was great despite their office being in South Cal and We were in Oakland. The first time required more paper work and quite a few signatures but all was managed through email and telephone. The two times we refinanced, was even easier as they already had all our paper work and information so it was very simple. English is my second language so speaking to someone you could understand clearly was essential. Todd responded fairly quickly to all our questions about the process and rates. I recall the last time he set up some numbers on his computer and he sent me the link so I could see some variations using different scenarios. That was pretty cool and let me and my wife figure out that we were making the correct decision to refinance. Hope this helps you when you are searching for a great lender.

Todd is such an easy person to work with. He explained our options in terms we could understand. He worked with us in getting all the information we needed for the process. He promptly returned our email or phone calls and he never made us feel like we had a 'dumb' question. We have the utmost trust in Todd and his staff. They all worked together in finding and achieving what worked for us, and not only would we recommend him, we have recommended him to our son, who also got the same attention and dedication for him and his family. Claudia and Jill are his right and left hands, and they really took care of all the little and big details, and together you could not ask for a better team to work with.

I am incredibly picky on who I work with. I screened 6 different lenders for my special situation in trying to buy and sell a home. Todd was the only one out of 6 to figure out how to get me my loan to help me buy/sell my homes. He is resourceful, very fast to respond, and very professional. Highly recommend their services! My boyfriend Germán and I just used them as our lending company to purchase our first home and we could not be happier with their fantastic service. We delt mainly with Anthony and they gave us the best loan amount and interest amongst the companies we searched and worked very efficiently. We wanted a nearby office, being our first home, in case we felt we needed to speak in person to someone. But we never needed to because they are knowledgeable and commumicative. They even sent the notary for final docs to our place on a weekend evening! We closed on time and are now enjoying our new place through the holidays. Thanks Corral Team :)
